PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe and user-friendly gas stove by clarifying a burner installation area in a composition provided with an operation part in a top plate top face. SOLUTION: The gas stove is provided with a stove body 11, a translucent top plate 13 covering a top part, a plurality of burners 15 facing the top plate 13, a gas flow rate controller 16 carrying out supply and cut-off of gas to the burners 15 and controlling a gas flow rate, a control means 23 for supplying a drive signal to the gas flow rate controller 16, the operation part 25 for inputting predetermined operation signals to the control means 23, and a display part 27 displaying an operating state. It is composed such that the operation part 25 and the display part 27 are arranged on the top plate 13 top face, a boundary area 13 of a predetermined width is provided in a space to the installation area 13c of the burners 15, a zone visual confirmation means 28 for visually confirming the installation area 13c of the burners 11 and an installation area 13a of the operation display part 25 by a light emitting state is provided in the boundary area 13d, and the light emitting state is changed in response to the operating state of the stove body 11.
