<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method which enables the formation of a high density image using a laser and does not cause the lowering of a developed color density or the occurrence of an erasure mark even if printing and erasure are repeated many time, in a reversible thermal recording material for repeatedly forming and erasing an image by a thermal method. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming method for obtaining a reversible thermal recording image by the scanning and exposure of a laser beam in the reversible thermal recording material, a dot arranging pitch in a sub-scanning direction is twice or more with respect to the color forming radius of the laser beam and less than the sum of the color erasing radius of the laser beam and the color forming radius thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
