PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a train riding position selecting system which can select a route and a train fitting most to a desire of a user, determine the riding position (car number) by obtaining the station facilities and the layout of an embarking station, a changing station, and a disembarking station of the train, and provide information of them to the user. SOLUTION: The train riding position determination system 100 is equipped with a user management distribution part 2 which obtains and distributes input data (the user's desire) inputted from a user's terminal 1, a route and train search system 4 for searching the route and a candidate train, a boarding rate prediction system 5 predicting the boarding rate by boarding rate data accumulated in a database (DB) 6, a station facility layout database 7 for each station, and an overall determination device 3 determining the most appropriate train and riding position having the condition corresponding to the input data based on the data obtained from the operation route and the boarding rate of the candidate train, the input data distributed from the user management distribution part 2 and the station facility layout database 7.
