PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable toilet capable of easily forming a private space invisible from the outside when being used, facilitating the carrying by eliminating bulkiness when being non-used, and being assembled/disassembled without using any tool. SOLUTION: This portable toilet 1 is provided with a tubular base 2 with a trapezoidal horizontal cross section, whose top and bottom are opened, a toilet seat 3 provided on the upper face of the base 2, a lid 4 turnably connected to the rear end part of the toilet seat 3 and covering the upper face of the toilet seat 3, and an excrement bag 5 stored in the interior of the base 2 and having its upper end part set so as to cover the upper face of the toilet seat 3. The lid 4 is provided with a detachable storage member 6 on its inside, and the storage member 6 stores a mantle 8 folded into a small shape.
