<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To structure a network printing system that makes it possible to use a copying function and a scanning function only by performing reception number selection/execution on the panel of a printer at a destination where a user carries a document and visits by performing processing only by management of a reception number after the user sets all of a variety of items resulting from multiple functions on a user's host. <P>SOLUTION: A multifunctional printing method has a means of setting respective job properties of a printing function, a copying function, and a scanning function on a monitor screen of a computer by providing a means of connecting a scanner to a printer and a means of connecting them to a network and installing driver software for enabling computer communication with the printer in a computer connected to the network when a single-function printer having only a printing function is extended into a multifunctional printer having a copying function and a scanning function. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
