摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor which ensures neither scratching of a cleaning blade nor sticking of toner even after printing of a large number of sheets and gives high-quality images free of image defects such as fogging, lowering of image density, lowering of sharpness and occurrence of black spots, and to provide an electrophotographic image forming method, an electrophotographic image forming apparatus and a process cartridge. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor has an outermost layer above a conductive aluminum substrate and has an intermediate layer containing inorganic particles and a binder between the conductive aluminum substrate and the outermost layer, wherein the conductive aluminum substrate has an intensity ratio of emission electrons between aluminum oxide and metal aluminum being 3.0-7.0, the inorganic particles have a number average primary particle diameter of 5-300 nm, and the intermediate layer is covered with the outermost layer.
