PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent disturbance of a thermocline in a temperature stratified heat accumulation tank. SOLUTION: In this heat transfer liquid supply/discharge structure, whereas a circulation flow rate Qa of a heat transfer liquid W from a heat accumulation tank 1 to a heat source device 2 in a heat accumulation operation is different from a circulation flow rate Qb of the heat transfer liquid W from the heat accumulation tank 1 to a load device 3 in a heat radiation operation, an opening area Sa of a heat accumulation-side return opening 4 for entering the heat transfer liquid W returned from the heat source device 2 into the heat accumulation tank 1 in the heat accumulation operation is made different from an opening area Sb of a heat radiation-side return opening 5 for entering the heat transfer liquid W returned from the load device 3 in the heat radiation operation into the heat accumulation tank into a state where the entry velocity Va of the heat transfer liquid W from the heat accumulation-side return opening 4 into the heat accumulation tank 1 in the heat accumulation operation is set nearly equal to the entry velocity Vb of the heat transfer liquid W from the heat radiation-side return opening 5 into the heat accumulation tank 1 in the heat radiation operation.
