PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the injection device of an injection molding machine constituted so as not only to move an injection screw with respect to a heating cylinder while accurately allowing the axial line of an injection screw to coincide with that of a heating cylinder, but also to certainly prevent the contact of the outer peripheral surface of the injection screw with the inner peripheral surface of the heating cylinder to eliminate the evil caused by the contact, easy to manufacture and capable of smoothly operating the injection screw. SOLUTION: In the injection device M of the electromotive injection molding machine (injection molding machine), a guide device G, which guides and moves a pusher plate 5 to which the injection screw 6 inserted in the heating cylinder 4 in a state freely rotatable in the peripheral direction of the heating cylinder 4 and freely movable in the axial direction thereof is attached, is equipped with two guide bars 22, of which the front end parts (one end parts) are fitted in and fixed to the attaching hole 20 provided to a front plate 3 so as to pierce the same in parallel to the insertion hole 3a of the heating cylinder 4 and the rear end parts (the other end parts) are fixed to the support part 2a integrally erected on a base part 2 so as to be separated from the front plate 3 rearwardly, and the bush 27 mounted in the bush mounting hole (through-hole) 26 bored in the pusher plate 5 along the axial direction of the injection screw 6 to be relatively moved along the guide bars 22.
