PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a light emitting element capable of manufacturing the light emitting element with excellent light emitting efficiency, the light emitting element manufactured by the manufacturing method for the light emitting element and a reliable display device and an electronic apparatus provided with the light emitting element. SOLUTION: In this light emitting element 1, a luminous layer 5 and a positive-hole transport layer 4 contacting the luminous layer 5 and mainly made of organic polymer are interposed between a positive electrode 3 and a negative electrode 6. The light emitting element 1 comprises: a first process applying affinity improvement processing to the surface side in which a positive-hole transport layer 4 of the positive electrode 3 is formed for improving affinity with the organic polymer, and a second process forming the positive-hole transport layer 4 and the luminous layer 5 together by forming a liquid film by supplying a fluid material containing the component of the luminous layer 5, the organic polymer and a fluid medium to the surface side in which the positive-hole transport layer 4 of the positive electrode 3 is formed and separating the organic polymer to the positive electrode 3 side and the component of the luminous layer 5 to the negative-electrode 6 side while removing the fluid medium from the liquid film.
