PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk drive furnished with such a flexible flat cable that it does not interfere with movement of a pickup and also it is pulled out so as not to disconnect the wiring in the flexible flat cable. SOLUTION: The disk drive is equipped with a pickup 2, a pickup chassis 1 for supporting the pickup 2 movably to the radial direction of the disk, and the flexible flat cable 11 disposed extendedly to the moving direction of the pickup 2 for electrically connecting the pickup 2 and a wiring substrate arranged on the pickup chassis 1. It is characterized by that a holding section 12 is prepared on a side surface of the pickup chassis 1 for holding a part of the flexible flat cable 11 while spirally being rolled.
