PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vane pump capable of suppressing the seizure of a rotor by its contact on side plates disposed on both sides thereof leading to a high surface pressure. SOLUTION: This vane pump comprises, in a casing, a cam ring 5, a laminated rotor 14 rotatably disposed in the cam ring 5, a plurality of vanes 4 stored in a plurality of vane grooves radially disposed in the laminated rotor 14 and slidingly moving along the cam face of the cam ring 5 following the rotation of the laminated rotor 14, and the front side plate 1 and the rear side plate 2 disposed on both sides of the cam ring 5, the single rotor 3, and the vane 4. The laminated rotor 14 is formed by laminating disk-like first sheets 13a to fourth sheet 13d on each other in the thrust direction and joining them to each other with rivets 15.
