<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power management technology controlling the peak power of an electronic device having a plurality of processors and a plurality of devices to operate the devices by latest information. <P>SOLUTION: This electronic device 200 has: the processors 20-22; the devices 30-33; and a peak power management part 10 having a power storage part 11 storing total power consumption and a reservation requirement storage part 12 storing a reserved use requirement. The processors 20-22 issue use requirements of the devices 30-33 to the peak power management part 10. When the total power consumption is within a prescribed value even if a new device operates, the peak power management part 10 issues the use permission notification of the device to the processor, and the processor sets operation contents of the device at that time point. When the total power consumption exceeds a prescribed value, the use requirement is reserved and stored in the reservation requirement storage part 12.
