PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit the effective using of the capacity of a fixed type recording means by managing the content recorded in the fixed type recording means. SOLUTION: When the content recorded in the fixed type recording means have reached the amount of data permitting recordable into a detachable recording means, the content recorded in the fixed-type recording means are dubbed automatically to the detachable recording means. According to this method, since the contents recorded in the fixed type recording means can be dubbed efficiently, the capacity of the fixed-type recording means can be used effectively.
