The dynamo has permanent magnets attached at a rim of a wheel of a bike and/or integrated into the rim. A coil for current generation is mounted at a framework and connected with an accumulator operated light by a rectifier and a load circuit. The magnets induce an electrical current, which has changing polarity, into the coil, and a light emitting diode (LED) controls the induced current.
