<p>In a brake lever for a spindle brake, which carries brake linings to be applied to a spindle, is mounted tiltably on a lever support and is tiltable between a rest position and braking position, the lever in the braking position is stabilized and/or prevented from further tilting (irrespective of the wear condition of the brake linings) : In a brake lever (preferably at least partially of elastic material) for a spindle brake, which carries brake linings to be applied to a spindle, mounted tiltably via mounting pins on a lever support (preferably a flange (5) on the lower part of the spindle) and is tiltable between a rest position and braking position, the lever in the braking position is stabilized and/or prevented from further tilting (irrespective of the wear condition of the brake linings), by the structure of the mounting pins and/or by provision of other fittings. Independent claims are included for: (A) a spindle brake for a spinning frame, provided with a brake lever as above; and (B) a spinning frame provided with the spindle brake.</p> |
