<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator device and an elevator maintenance method capable of lighting and inspecting a landing push-button lamp in the same direction as the retained operational direction even when retaining the operational direction by adding the inspection mode function to light the landing push-button lamp during the maintenance of an elevator. <P>SOLUTION: The elevator device comprises landing call buttons 7, 8, an elevator control unit 2 to register the landing call when the landing call buttons are operated and to light a landing call button lamp when the landing call is registered, and a mode selection device 3 which makes an access to the elevator control unit during the maintenance, and sets the inspection mode of the landing call button lamp. The mode selection device inverts the lighting of the landing call button lamp interlockingly with the operation of the landing call button even if the landing call button retains the operational direction when the inspection mode of the landing call button lamp is set. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
