The system has two exhaust-gas turbochargers (3, 4) with turbines (3`, 4`) connected with one another by an exhaust gas guiding pipe (5). A bypass line is provided for the turbine (3`) and flows in a flow direction in front of the turbine inlet of the turbocharger (4) in an orifice point of the pipe. An exhaust-gas purification system (7) is arranged in the pipe between an exhaust-gas outlet of the turbocharger (3) and the point.
