<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a white light source in which its chromaticity and light-emitting efficiency are improved, a white-light emitting device, and a method of manufacturing it. <P>SOLUTION: The white light source is manufactured by adopting the white-light emitting device. The white light emitted from the white-light emitting device consists of at least a first light component having a first wavelength, a second light component having a second wavelength, and a third light component having a third wavelength, wherein the first wavelength is shorter than the second wavelength, and the second wavelength is shorter than the third wavelength. The white-light emitting device comprises a sealing plate, a first light-emitting element disposed on the sealing plate and composed of a primary light source that emits the first light component and a secondary light source that emits a part of the third light component converted from the first light component, and a second light-emitting element disposed on the sealing plate, adjacent to the first light-emitting element, and composed of a primary light source that emits the second light component and a secondary light source that emits a part of the third light component converted from the second light component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
