<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly switch the transmission method of radio signals from one to the other corresponding to the configuration of a receiver. <P>SOLUTION: A radio communication system comprises a transmission device which is equipped with two or more antennas and capable of transmitting different radio signals through the antennas respectively, and a receiving device which is equipped with, at least, a single antenna and receives the radio signals sent from the above transmission device. The above receiving device is equipped with an information transmission unit which transmits configuration information as to the configuration of the receiving device to the transmission device, and the above transmission device is equipped with a transmission unit which transmits the above radio signals through a transmission method corresponding to the configuration information received from the receiving device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
