<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection device for a flexible wiring board reinforcing a FPC board for a back light, preventing faulty connection due to poor insertion of a terminal part of a flexible wiring board and a connector, and obtaining good connection by preventing a contaminant or a scratch from being formed in a contact of the terminal part. <P>SOLUTION: This connection device for flexible wiring board is provided with: the terminal part 17 having the contacts 19a-19n formed by print wiring at a tip part of a film-like flexible wiring board; a receptacle where the terminal part 17 is inserted; and the connector having the contact attached in the receptacle and connected with the contacts 19a-19n of the terminal part 17. In the terminal part 17, a reinforcing plate 18 is stuck to a surface opposite to a surface in which the contacts are formed and ear pieces 20a, 20b abutted on an opening edge of the receptacle of the connector are formed in a position retreated from the tip end of the terminal part 17 in a longitudinal direction of the board by a prescribed distance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
