摘要

An opening/closing lock device for a glove box for locking and unlocking the glove box rotatably fitted to the instrument panel of a vehicle to and from the instrument panel when the glove box is set at the closed position. The opening/closing lock device comprises an operation part disposed at a position nearer a driver's seat than the lateral center position of the glove box, installed on the instrument panel among the instrument panel and the glove box, and having a push type knob, a pair of lock parts installed correspondingly to the lateral both side parts of the glove box, and a transmission part transmitting the movement of the operation part to each of the pair of lock parts by utilizing the tension and compression of a transmission member.
