PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handle in a handle device of a door incapable of making irregular unlocking in the handle device of the door and, at the same time, holding the strength of the handle. SOLUTION: Both up and down end sections of the handle 3 longer is supported and guided so that they can approach or separate from a pedestal 1 fixed to a free side end edge section of the surface of the door through a guide mechanism and, at the same time, a storage cave 5 reaching a lock box by passing through the handle 3 and the pedestal 1 is formed, and in the handle device of the door facing the front end of a cylinder 6 stored in the storage cave and incorporating a cylinder lock from the inside to a locking and unlocking hole 8 as an opening of the storage cave 5 in the handle 3, a reinforcing material 9 is buried in the side in the vicinity of the locking and unlocking hole of the handle 3 in parallel with the longitudinal direction.
