PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of fractures, cracks and peeling in the surface of the inner wall of an aluminum alloy cylinder or a plating layer therein, in a casting process, a process of surface treatment such as plating or a process of using the cylinder at high temperature owing to a difference in the material of the aluminum alloy matrix. SOLUTION: Regarding the method for forming an anodically oxidized coating film on the inner wall of an aluminum alloy cylinder, at the time when the process of anodic oxidation treatment is performed, utilizing the continuous rotation of the rotary axis (30) of a stainless steel center, an oxidized coating film formation zone (101) and a solid lubricant application zone (102) are continuously and repeatedly made to correspond to the inner wall face of the cylinder alternatively, thus an oxidized coating film having a prescribed uniform thickness and lubricity is formed on the inner wall face of the cylinder. The surface layer of the oxidized coating film has prescribed hardness/abrasion resistance, and can have permanent lubrication effect of itself. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
