PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply direct destination by extracting destination information from the text of a mail. SOLUTION: The personal name of a person being the destination is frequently quoted in the text of an electronic mail. The personal name in the text is drag-and-dropped to a destination field 11 by a pointing device such as a mouse 17 to obtain a corresponding electronic mail address from a personal name-address conversion table previously registered in an electronic mail system as internal information and set it in the destination field, thereby directing the destination simply and speedily. |
