PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for electrophotography which suppresses occurrence of image unevenness in using a contact system fixing device having a member which comes in contact with a mechanism for delivering paper to the outside of the machine, and which has stable charging property. SOLUTION: The toner for electrophotography comprises at least a release agent, a resin and a colorant. The release agent is a microcrystalline wax having an endothermic peak measured by DSC at 78-100°C, a half-value width of the endothermic peak of≥10°C, an exothermic peak at 75-100°C and a half-value width of the exothermic peak of≥10°C.
