<p>A subcarrier signal generator comprises a BPF for extracting a pilot signal from an FM detected signal, a p/2 phase shifter for generating a pilot shift signal the phase of which is shifted by p/2 from that of the pilot signal, a first multiplier for generating a multiplication signal by multiplying the pilot signal by the pilot shift signal, a second multiplier for squaring the pilot signal, a third multiplier for squaring the pilot shift signal, an adder for generating an addition signal by adding the squared pilot signal to the squared pilot shift signal, and a divider for generating a subcarrier signal by dividing the multiplication signal by the addition signal. When a subcarrier signal is generated from the pilot signal of a multiplexed signal, the amplitude level of the subcarrier signal is always made constant.</p> |
