METHOD FOR TREATING POLLUTED FLUID, SYSTEM FOR TREATING POLLUTED FLUID, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING BIOMASS CARRIER SUITABLE FOR TREATING POLLUTED FLUID

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for treating polluted fluid and a method for producing a biomass carrier suitable for treating the polluted fluid.

SOLUTION: The biomass carrier piece 32 is produced by reinforcing with a fiber component selected from the group consisting of a non woven fabric, a fiber bundle assembly, a bulky fiber bundle assembly, a fabric, and a network strap, and by making a loosened area onto which microorganisms adhere and which surrounds the tightened area having the minimum thickness to promote the water penetration to it and to improve the adhesion of the microorganisms thereon. The method and system for treating the polluted fluid comprises removing the pollutant from the polluted fluid by mixing the biomass carrier piece 32 with the polluted fluid.
