<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recycling foamed styrene by reducing the volume of the foamed styrene with incombustible liquid and taking out the styrene. <P>SOLUTION: This method for recycling the foamed styrene is provided by dissolving the foamed styrene with an incombustible halogenated hydrocarbon or a polyhydric alcohol derivative, diluting and then filtering, then adding water or an alcohol for gelatinizing the styrene to take out the styrene and then drying to obtain the styrene. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
