<p>Polyethylenevinylacetate-based self-adhesive composition contains 1-35 wt.% polyether of Mw 200-100,000 to give good adhesion strength and integrity. Self-adhesive composition comprises a polyethylenevinylacetate (PEVA) with a VA content of 40-80 wt.% and a melt flow index (MFI) of 0.5-25 g/10 min. at 190 degrees C and 2.16 kg and contains 1-35 wt.% polyether of wt. average mol. wt. (Mw) 200-100,000 and of formula (I) or (II): XO((CH2)4O)Y (I) XO((CH(CH3)CH2O)Y (II) X and Y = H, CnH2n+1, CH2=CHCO, CH3CH(NH2)CH2, 2,3-epoxypropyl, C6H5CO or CH2=C(CH3)CO; and n = 1-20.</p> |
