METHOD OF REDUCING THE POLLUTION LOAD OF PURINES

The present invention refers to a method for reducing the pollutant load of manure effluents that comprises the following steps: (a) anaerobic biodigestion of the manure; (b) separation of the solid matter of the biodigested manure obtained in step (a); and (c) distillation of the clarified liquid manure obtained in step (b), to obtain a final liquid manure with a lower pollutant load;
using the biogas produced in the biodigestion of step (a) in a cogeneration unit to satisfy the thermal and electrical energy requirements of all the steps and of the cogeneration itself. The invention also refers to a method for reducing the pollutant load of manure effluents that combines the previous method with an evaporation and drying method, using this biogas in a cogeneration unit supplemented by a fossil fuel to satisfy the energy requirements of all the steps and of the cogeneration itself.
