The invention relates to a drive system for a tracked vehicle. Said system comprises: an internal combustion engine (1); at least one steering drive (2); a differential gear assembly (3) comprising at least one drive element (4), at least one steering drive element (5) and two drive outputs (6) for driving the drive sprockets (7) of a drive shaft (8); a steering drive connection (9) between the steering drive (2) and a steering drive element (5); at least one additional drive element (10; 30) for transmitting the drive power of the internal combustion engine (1) to the drive element (4). The internal combustion engine (1) runs parallel with the drive shaft (8) and transmits the drive power directly or indirectly to the additional drive element (10; 30), which is mounted next to the internal combustion engine (1), when viewed in the driving direction. |
