Cosmetic composition comprises hydroxamate derivatives at 0.001-10 mass% and antioxidants at 0.00001-10 mass%. An independent claim is also included for process to stimulate collagen and fight against skin aging or provide anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effect to skin or prevent the formation of acne or suppress the sebum secretion on the skin or to inhibit tyrosinase on the skin, comprises the usage of the combination of hydroxamate derivative and antioxidant on the skin in a cream or lotion formulation or a formulation of elimination by washing. - ACTIVITY : Dermatological; Antiseborrheic. - MECHANISM OF ACTION : Tyrosinase inhibitor. The ability of the composition to inhibit tyrosinase was tested. The result showed that the salicylic hydroxamate inhibited tyrosinase 100% at 300 mu M. .
