<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing controller which enables a user to recognize a printable remaining number according to a residual capacity of a battery. <P>SOLUTION: The printing controller comprises a measuring circuit which measures a residual capacity index correlated to the residual capacity of the battery of a printing unit that operates with the battery being made a power supply, a remaining number specifying means which specifies the printable remaining number of the printing unit on the basis of the residual capacity index, and a remaining number output means which outputs the printable remaining number. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
