摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handle for controlling deflection of a distal end of a catheter body. <P>SOLUTION: When a knob 10 is turned so that a right slide 30 is energized in the distal end direction and a left slide 32 is energized in the base end direction, a defected wire 38 which is bound to the right slide 30 is compressed and a defected wire 38 which is bound to the left slide 32 is stretched. Thereby, a most distal end 14 of the catheter body 4 is deflected in a first direction. Conversely, when the knob is turned so that the right slide 30 is energized in the base end direction and the left slide 32 is energized in the distal end direction, the defected wire 38 which is bound to the right slide 30 is stretched and the defected wire 38 which is bound to the left slide 32 is compressed.
