PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article heating/cooling device capable of quickly heating a heated article or quickly cooling a cooled article without wasting the heat produced by an air compressing device, and being easily handled. SOLUTION: This article heating/cooling device 1 can quickly heat the heated article G1 when the heated article G1 is stored in a first storage housing 4, and quickly cool the cooled article G2 when the cooled article G2 is stored in a second storage housing 5. As the heating of the heated article G1 and the cooling of the cooled article G2 can be implemented in one cycle, a system is not complicated. As a heat source such as a heater is unnecessary, the energy can be saved. Further the air is used as a heating medium and a cooling medium, which dispenses with the costs for heating medium and cooling medium.
