PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an objective lens capable of preventing degradation of optical performance caused by falling or misalignment of the optical axis. SOLUTION: Between the internal surface of the outer cylinder 14 and the outer surface of the lens holder frame 6 to be inserted into the outer cylinder 14, a plurality of steel balls 9 are rotatably arranged, and also a plurality of steel balls 10 are rollably arranged between the internal surface of the outer cylinder 14 and the outer surface of the lens holder frame 6 and separated from the plurality of steel balls 9 in the optical axis L direction by a prescribed distance.
