Preparation of a sorption memory element (I), comprises at least partially filling a form for defining the outer contour of (I) with a pouring of sorbent material in granular form; and infiltrating into the gaps of pouring from a sorbent material with a heat conductivity of more than 10 W/mK, and forming an open-porous solid body. An independent claim is also included for a sorption memory element, obtained by the method.
