<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic field conversion element generating a local electromagnetic field of which the intensity is large with simple constitution, and a recording apparatus or a recording and reproducing apparatus having high recording density and a high transfer rate using the electromagnetic conversion element. <P>SOLUTION: A metal film 5, a metal film 6, and a metal film 7 are provided on a transparent substrate 9, the metal film 5 and the metal film 7 are provided so as to come into contact with the metal film 6, while the metal film 6 is constituted of a material being different from a material of the metal films 5/7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
