<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food storage solving the following problems: a decreased-level oxygen feeding device is inferior in space efficiency and insufficient in oxidizing deterioration control while CA-storage using carbon dioxide is mainly employed for long preservation of fresh food. <P>SOLUTION: The food storage 10 is provided with a semi-closed fresh food storing container 17 cooled with a cooling means 14, a hydrogen gas feeding means 15 introducing hydrogen gas into the fresh food storing container 17, and a hydrogen gas concentration controlling means 18. In the storage, hydrogen gas concentration in the fresh food storing container 17 is regulated so as to utilize the reducing power and respiratory depressant effect of the hydrogen gas produced via steam reforming of ethanol or the like to prevent oxidizing deterioration so as to achieve long storage of the fresh food. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
