<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic ball floating on water or liquid by using an inorganic raw material containing industrial wastes and an organic raw material. <P>SOLUTION: The ceramic ball is made hollow to reduce the specific gravity of the whole to make the ball floatable. The ball is manufactured at any time to satisfy the required values of the outside diameter and specific gravity of the ball by an efficient production method, making the mass production of the ball possible. By coating the ball with various functional materials to maximize the functional effects of the floating ceramic ball.
