An arrangement for producing a three-dimensional component using stereolithography, comprises a container for a material which is to be solidified, and a 3D-irradiation unit. A high energy density unit produces a high energy density point within the volume phase of the material, and the energy density is sufficient to solidify the material. At least two point zones are formed, and a focussing unit is used to focus the energy beam.
