PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging system and a control method thereof wherein a recyclable digital camera inherits setting information even after the recyclable digital camera is replaced, and also to provide a communication apparatus, a control method of the communication apparatus, an imaging apparatus, and a control method of the imaging apparatus. SOLUTION: In a configuration comprising: a first digital camera (DC 1); a second digital camera (DC 2); a Bluetooth (BT); and a mobile phone (T), the T includes a setting information management means of the DC 1, 2. After authentication through the BT, the DC 1 transmits setting information to the T. The transmission of the setting information is triggered by power OFF, a sleep state, zero remaining frame, and finished DPOF setting or the like. Conversely, no setting information is transmitted in an LB state. After the authentication through the BT, the DC 2 receives the setting information from the T and sets the information to itself. The propriety of settings and partial revision of the settings can be made. The setting information is, e.g. an operating mode, an inhibition mode, a user name, a comment, a date and time, a language, and DPOF initial settings or the like.
