PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insertion tube for an endoscope and an endoscope capable of relieving the pain to be applied to a patient when a user inserts the insertion tube into the body cavity of the patient. SOLUTION: The insertion tube for the endoscope comprises an insertion tube, a first conduit, a first imaging means for obtaining a first observation image capable of being partly enlarged and displayed in a display means with the imaging light focused by a first observation optical system, and a second imaging means for obtaining a second observation image, which are disposed inside the insertion tube. The first imaging means has an extension part orthogonally crossing the direction of the optical axis of the first observation optical system to extend inside the insertion tube, and the first conduit and the second imaging means are disposed with the extension part located in-between.
