PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide radio equipment which is made compact by reducing radiant heat from a housing constituting a vacuum chamber to a refrigeration unit, and enabling reduction in its necessary refrigeration capacity. SOLUTION: In this radio equipment 100, a heat insulating sheet 70 for performing insulation of the radiant heat is arranged between the refrigeration unit 20 and the housing constituting the vacuum chamber 30. Since this sheet 70 interrupts radiant heat from the housing, constituting the vacuum chamber 30, toward the refrigeration unit 20, radiant heat which conventionally dominantly influences a superconductive receiving filter 11 and a low-noise amplifier 12 being electronic function portions can be decreased; and the capacity and the size of a refrigerator 40 for cooling the electronic function portions can be reduced, and consequently the radio equipment can be miniaturized, and its power consumption and cost can be reduced.
