PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nurse call slave unit in which a medical worker grasps the reason of calling, burden on the medical worker is reduced, and quick response is ensured. SOLUTION: A rotary input section 50 receives an input from a patient or a person under care when a disk or half-disc rotator is rotated (or rolled) by operation of the patient or the person under care and on/off operation is repeated. A button input section 60 is provided with a button, i.e. a switch, which brings about on state when that button is depressed by a finger of the patient or the person under care and resets to off state when the finger is released. A control section 100 controls a display section 30 to display an image depending on the operation at the rotary input section 50 by the patient or the person under care and when the button input section 60 is operated, call data indicating a request according to a content displayed on a display section 30 is transmitted to a nurse call master unit.
