The roof ridge for a thatched roof is covered with a polamid structured mat. This plastic covering is visually not to differ from the rest of the heather ridge. The covering has the effect that when it rains the water flows down slower. By this, copper ions are released so that water flowing down onto the rain roof substantially slows down the mossing of the thatched roof. The thickness of the copper sheet comes to 0.7 mm, with a flat sheet development of 1.80 mm, and a width of 1 m.
|
