PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a calculation load of a processor, in an image processing system generating a moving image added with effect processing on the basis of a static image. SOLUTION: In this image processing system, a memory interface 3 is interposed between the processor 1 and an image memory 2, and is provided with an address conversion part 3a and an interpolation calculation part 3b. The address conversion part 3a calculates a plurality of real addresses positioned on the periphery of a logic address on the basis of the logic address from the processor 1, and instructs reading of a plurality of pieces of pixel value data respectively corresponding to the plurality of calculated real address to the image memory 2. The interpolation calculation part 3b performs interpolation calculation with the plurality of pieces of pixel value data read from the image memory 2 as input to calculate interpolation data corresponding to the logic address, and outputs the calculated interpolation data to the processor 1.
