<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air blower for an air conditioner having a structure for guiding air in the axial direction of a cross flow fan and discharging the same through both side faces of a case, and further to provide the air blower for the air conditioner having a structure for discharging air in a state of increasing air distributing quantity and reducing flow noise. <P>SOLUTION: In this air blower for the air conditioner comprising the case provided with a suction opening and a discharge opening, the cross flow fan mounted inside of the case, and a driving motor connected with one end of the cross flow fan and rotating the cross flow fan, the cross flow fan is laterally mounted in the case, the discharge openings are formed on both side faces of the case, and a guide unit is mounted between the cross flow fan and the discharge openings for guiding the air passing through the cross flow fan, so that it flows in the axial direction of the cross flow fan and is discharged from the discharge openings. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
