PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device reduced in weight and volume. SOLUTION: The display device is characterized by comprising; a housing unit including a front case with an opening part and a rear case combined with the front case; a display panel which is housed in the housing unit and has a display area corresponding to the opening part; and a fixing member which lies between the inside face of the housing unit and the side face of the display panel and fixes the display panel to the housing unit.
