PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network file system and authentication method which improve reliability of log-in authentication. SOLUTION: When a user performs user registration from a portable telephone terminal 3, a UID detection part 12 detects identification information (UID) of the portable telephone terminal 3, a WID generation part 14 transmits a generated WID for every UID to a mail address of the portable telephone terminal 3. The user sets the UID and the WID to an authentication information holding part 60. In performing log-in processing, a log-in processing part 51 transmits the UID to a log-in management part 25, whereas the log-in management part 25 reads the WID corresponding to the UID from an authentication information data base 24 and transmits the WID to an information use terminal 30. The log-in processing part 51 compares the received WID with a pre-registered WID 62 and, only when the two coincide with each other, continues the log-in processing. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
